Just curious, I don't know what the circumstances were behind that photo, but if you apprached him, did you acknowledge him by saying "Excuse me, Vanilla..." or did you call him by his real name, Robert Van Winkle? Like, "Excuse me, Robert..."
Does he even go by Vanilla Ice anymore? I thought I remember him smashing shit up on MTV because he hated what he was.
Either way, that pic will definitely make the Image of the Day in the WBAFL.
He actually does go by Vanilla Ice. He was playing a sweet ass Des Moines block party. Played mostly new shit but did perform Ice Ice Baby and the place went absolutely berserk.
He hung out after he finished his set and took pictures and whatnot. He seems to have emerged from his pathetic, depressed hate-the-person-I-was funk and now embraces his brief stint as a superstar for the novelty act that it has made him.
To answer your original question - I think this picture makes you less cool, but more sweet, if that makes sense.
