Lollapalooza 2006

3 Days, 8 Stages, & 130 Bands

I know that Tom, Nicole, and Mark are planning on coming, but if anyone else is down then email or call me to let me know. Krissy and I have a lot of space in our new apartment, so everyone can stay with us instead of getting a hotel. Its in Grant Park this year (downtown) and it should be the shit. Anyone who is interested can check out the bands and buy tickets at the link above.

The concert starts Friday (8/4 ) and goes thru Sunday (8/6). Single day passes are going for $60.00, but the daily concert line-ups have not yet been released. 3 -Day passes just went up to $140.00, but after service charges and shipping they total $160.00. Boland and I agreed that it would probably be best to pick one day (with the best line-up) out of the three - instead of doing the whole weekend. This will obviously save a lot of $$ and the rest of the weekend can be spent getting stupid in other parts of Chi.

Hope to see you all here in August.

Go Sox.

Wow... he throws in a go Sox at the end.

But I'm definitely considering this. More to come.

The weather guy I'm watching just described some weather event by "sit and spin". Porno has invaded the world.

What it is M.Bundles - I thought you and Krissy were going to be keeping seperate residences?

In case people don't know - you can do all kinds of shit in Chicago because no one knows who you are and you'll never see them again. I recommend it.

That being said - I have all kinds of shit I want to do this summer - all of it requiring $$$. So - I'll have to see what it shapes up like as we go.

Is this the same kind of deal as Austin City Limits - where the prices triple once they announce the lineup??
